Join us as we celebrate Italian culture and the release of  the new memoire  My Name is Joe And I Am A Pizza Man

On Dec 1 award-winning restaurateur Joe Farruggio, Founder of Il Canale/A Modo Mio/90 Second Pizza celebrated the launch of his memoire, My Name is Joe And I Am A Pizza Man which was co-written with renowned author Thierry Sagnier. The evening began with a tribute to Joe's 50+ year career and achievements by author/chef Amy Riolo. The Il Canale team prepared a delicious buffet including their signature Neapolitan pizza, ricotta gnocchi, arancini, penne with pesto sauce, bruschette, and even house-made Sicilian cannoli along with sumptuous Italian wines and espresso. The fantastic meal was paired with an equally exquisite musical performance by Italian Tenor Marco Fiorante who sang songs from his album LOVE along with popular classics that had the crowd joyfully singing and dancing along. The delightful evening concluded with a duet between Marco and the legendary Joe Coleman of the Platters. After a joint performance of Volare, Joe treated attendees to a solo performance of his epic blockbuster, Only You.
